11th Annual NY Symposium for International EM

We want to remind you that the 11th Annual New York Symposium for International Emergency Medicine will be held on August 6, 2014, in Manhattan at Lenox Hill Hospital. This year's theme will be "Emergency Medicine Development: Challenges Faced and Lessons Learned." As in past years, we hope that this conference will draw a number of medical professionals working in the international emergency medicine community as well as residents, students, fellows, and other physicians interested in global health.

Preliminary Scientific Program Announced

The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the preliminary Scientific Program for ESEM2014, the premier event for Emergency Medicine in the Region, which will be held from 5-9 December 2014 at the Conrad Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Conference will include two days of pre-conference Workshops; Plenary Sessions and Parallel Tracks covering multidisciplinary topics during the three days presented by world renowned scientific experts in the field of Emergency Medicine.

ACEP Scientific Assembly 2014 International Scholarships

ACEP Section on International Emergency Medicine 2014 Scientific Assembly scholarship fund applications are due no later than June 15, 2014!

The ACEP Section on International EM has a scholarship fund for international participants to attend the Scientific Assembly, which will take place in Chicago, Illinois, October 27-30, 2014 with additional pre-conference activities scheduled for October 26th Please visit the conference Web site at for more information.

IFEM Mechanism to Endorse Research Projects

The International Federation for Emergency Medicine has created a mechanism to endorse research projects and research consortia. The purpose would be to lend credibility to the study and/or consortium and possibly assist in obtaining funding.
