Social Media Resident Chair Position

Dear Resident Members of GEMA,

We are looking for a motivated resident to become the Social Media Resident Chair for GEMA.

The role entails maintaining GEMA's website ( and cross-posting on the Facebook/Twitter pages. The workload is expected to be minimal (e.g. an hour a week) and would great for the CV, for mentorship opportunities, and to become more involved!

IFEM Call for Committee Participation

Dear IFEM Member,

I am writing to you regarding membership of IFEM’s Committees. IFEM membership now stands at 61 member organisations and it is the wish of the Executive to be as inclusive as possible. It has been agreed that membership of the committees will be refreshed, with the aim of improving representation of all member organisations and regions.

We were lucky to have just been granted an ACEP Section Grant (in conjunction with the ACEP international Section) to build interactive and evaluative online open-access modules for students, residents, and fellows preparing for global health electives.

We would like to invite you to the 2nd Pan-Pacific Emergency Medicine Congress 2014, which will be held from Oct. 13-15, 2014 in Daejeon, Korea. The event will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Korean Society of Emergency Medicine (KSEM) and will take place at Daejeon Convention Center. KSEM is delighted to be the host of PEMC 2014, and will represent a joint effort between KSEM and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM).
