INDO-US Emergency Medicine Summit (2015): The 11th Annual INDO-US Emergency Medicine Summit will be held at Delhi, India from 2nd to 4th October 2015. Over 10 Skills Training Programs have been carefully designed for eager trainees attending the Summit. The Summit is a melting pot for joint conferences on disaster medicine, toxicology, trauma care, emergency nursing, acute transportation and emergency care.

The African Federation of Emergency Medicine (AFEM) is thrilled to finally announce the launch of its Emergency Care curriculum. This purpose-designed training resource tailored to the African setting and created by emergency care experts includes both short and long-course curricula, and coordinates with the AFEM Handbook of Acute and Emergency Care (Oxford Press, 2013).

We are thrilled to announce the topic for the upcoming International Section Education Session offered in conjunction with ACEP15 in Boston, MA this fall.
“Optimizing Sepsis Care in Limited Resource Settings”

On behalf of the International Federation of Emergency Medicine and the Emirates Society of Emergency, we would like to invite you to the first IFEM Trauma Update Symposium in Abu Dhabi to be held on 5-6 June.
This joint symposium will promote the specialty of trauma care and targets all medical professionals who deal with the complex nature of trauma care; those engaged in pre-hospital, in-hospital or inter-hospital emergency medical care and disaster planning.
On behalf of the Emergency Medicine Society of South Africa, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend the 19th World Congress on Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WCDEM) in Cape Town, South Africa. The conference will take place from 21-24 April 2015 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, and will be hosted by the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine in conjunction with EMSSA.
